Collab proposal

For my collaborative project, I want to use my stimuli, which is an photo of the trees in the back field during the end of fall season, to create a short movie of a love story between two young lovers. 
Specifically, I want the setting of the movie to be in a forest on a random island that is somewhere in the world; the season is near the end of fall; the time is around the 2000s: characters if the play is only going to be the two young lovers who have just fall in love with each other; and the camera perspective could change between first, second, and third person’s perspective. According to the picture I have, the colors the the whole scene should be mainly red, yellow, brown, orange, gold, black, dark green, and light green. I want the short clip to be mainly a walk and some fun little interactions between the two cute young lovers. This is inspired of my own relationship and the major color of fall, which is red that always reminds me of love. My first impression on my idea is that the short clip is going to be very lovely, interesting, funny, and sweet because it is a story of two young lovers who have just fell in love to each other. The key words that we have came up with are fall, leaves, love, color, mushrooms, red, yellow, brown, walk, curiosity, wonderland, fantasy, hide and seek, dance, chase, sink, slowly, change, transformation, direction, wondering, pace, beat, and forest. Also, I want the scene to be shot actually in the back field. Because the color of the leaves and the trees could make the plots to seem more natural, interesting, realistic, interactive, and relaxing. My favorites of this short clip are absolutely the process of shooting it and the interactions such as hide and seek, chasing, holding hands, and chatting between the two young lovers. The whole point of this clip is to show how deeply in love that the two young lovers are to each other and the color of the season fall even adds more sweet and lovely taste to the clip.

Collaboration Project

Love Is Complicated Ideas based on stimulus The inspiration for our devising group project titled, Love is Complicated is derived from the stimulus, the painting the hole on the wall.     We gathered our information and ideas about the theme of the play by recalling what we see and what we think of the art work. The very first thing that we realized/noticed about the painting is the distinctive red balloon. Obviously the balloon used to belong to the human figure on the left side and now the balloon is gone, we can tell this by looking at how the hand of the “human” is trying to reach for the balloon. Also the balloon has a shape of a heart, which is possibly referring to love. Combining love and the sense of distance/abandon, we’ve decided our topic to be about the sad facts of love.
