Devising technique ideas of some theater companies

1. I O U:
              -"Volatile Light is a mechanical light and sound installation in four parts. The main part of the installation is the mechanical sculpture area. One large rotating sculpture and several smaller sculptures will move with led lights attached to them.The movement of the sculptures is filmed and projected into a second space (the screen space). Visitors are invited to sit and view this area separately to the main installation. Three cameras filming the sculptures will be sited near the raked seating area in the hall. A “play” space is situated and linked to the main space where visitors can create their own interactive light painting masterpiece. A fourth space will be located in the foyer just outside the main hall. This is a 3D interactive space where visitors can experience Volatile Light in a virtual world."
                
2. Forever sleep: 
                - Imagery. Above Me The Wide Blue Sky.  Animated paintings of flat grey, starlings, infinite blue, Turneresque clouds, watery, alive.  The sound of something geological.  Bats singing, like harps, like music.  A forest of light.  A cliff edge indoors.  And weaving words of connectedness, a body in motion, in language, in water, in flight.

3. Fuel:
                -All of the artists Fuel works with produce shows, performances or experiences which have         very clear, direct and playful relationships with their audiences. They appeal to the emotions and the intellect. Things that make you laugh and cry. These artists see the world in a different way; they respond to challenges and difficulties with ingenuity and ideas; they create something unexpected which articulates something to its audience.

4.Wrights & sites:
                  - Ambulant architecture is the increase in the amount of space through which the walking people can move without leaving a trace, without becoming part of the spectacle, without falling under surveillance. In the space between secrets and images, it could be imaginary or composed of vibrant matter; occasionally, stuff with a mini-monumentality, even. Whatever it is, it is made by walkers and not by architects.

Peter Brook Education: Oxford University Born in London, Britain Worked at The Royal Shakespeare Company and directed some of Shakespeare’s plays. EX. Collaboration Project

Love Is Complicated Ideas based on stimulus The inspiration for our devising group project titled, Love is Complicated is derived from the stimulus, the painting the hole on the wall.     We gathered our information and ideas about the theme of the play by recalling what we see and what we think of the art work. The very first thing that we realized/noticed about the painting is the distinctive red balloon. Obviously the balloon used to belong to the human figure on the left side and now the balloon is gone, we can tell this by looking at how the hand of the “human” is trying to reach for the balloon. Also the balloon has a shape of a heart, which is possibly referring to love. Combining love and the sense of distance/abandon, we’ve decided our topic to be about the sad facts of love.
